Work plows ahead on Woodrow Wilson Bridge construction

Construction of the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge near Washington, D.C., is making significant progress, with contractors working on various projects on the Virginia and Maryland sides of the bridge. Among the efforts is the placement of large steel beams, as large as 114 feet in length and 12 feet tall, onto V-shaped piers in Virginia to support the deck.
