Basketball star won battle against cancer

Jericka Jenkins, now 18, was a star high-school basketball player and won a college basketball scholarship despite being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at 14 and undergoing six rounds of chemotherapy. "She's always laughing and always smiling," said freshman forward Melanie Warner, who plays on Jenkins' college team. "You wouldn't picture someone like her to have gone through such hurt and pain and come out with such a smile on her face."
