Marketing chiefs not listening to online complaints, survey shows

Just 16% of corporate chief marketing officers regularly track company message boards to find out customers' likes, dislikes, peeves and opinions, the CMO Council has found in a new poll. About one in three believe their companies are proficient in addressing consumer problems, and 31% give a good score to their commitment to listening to consumers, according to this survey of 500 marketing chiefs.
