NTSB: US Airways jet's engines show soft body damage

NTSB investigators said a visual inspection of the left engine of the US Airways plane that ditched in the Hudson River after the pilot reported hitting a flock of birds revealed soft body damage. They also noted dents on the engine's inlet lip as well as broken and missing guide vanes, but found no organic material. The plane's right engine showed signs of soft body damage and organic material.
