Stock analyst: Cable may be more resilient than rivals

Cable providers will withstand the economic downturn better than telecom and satellite companies will, according to a new report from Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. analyst Craig Moffett. He said cable would "prove relatively more resilient than the broader economy," in part because the cable industry will see more broadband expansion and require less capital spending than some of its competitors.
