Hampton University receives PET/CT grant for cancer center

The Resources and Services Administration of the HHS awarded a $565,000 grant to Hampton University in Virginia to install a PET/CT imaging system at its Proton Therapy Institute, which is scheduled to open in August. The imaging system is expected to help doctors determine cancer stage and formulate the best treatment regimen for their patients.
