IsoRay ships cesium-131 to Canada for research

IsoRay Medical is working with a Canadian customer on a study that aims to determine whether cesium-131 can be used to treat other malignant diseases aside from low-risk prostate cancer. The Richland, Wash.-based medical isotope developer said it has delivered a set of cesium-131 brachytherapy seeds to Canada for this purpose.
