Mass. device trade group urges Brown to oppose tax in health bill

MassMedic, a medical device trade group in Massachusetts, has urged Republican Sen. Scott Brown to continue his opposition to the health reform bill, which would impose on device firms $20 billion in taxes over 10 years, starting next year. In a letter to Brown, the group informed the senator of the device sector's contributions to the state's economy.
