Passengers are removed from Southwest flight at Chicago Midway

A Detroit-bound Southwest Airlines jet was evacuated shortly before takeoff from Chicago Midway on Monday after reports of a suspicious object onboard. Passengers said they were removed from the Boeing 737-700 and received pat-down searches while bomb-sniffing dogs scoured the aircraft. The plane was cleared for takeoff after a two-hour delay.
