U. of Wisconsin center gets federal grant for stem cell research

The Waisman Clinical Biomanufacturing Facility at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, has received a federal grant of about $9 million to help move its stem cell research to human trials. The facility conducts studies on stem cells derived from embryos, bone marrow and fat tissues.
