CFTC proposes a disclosure requirement for funds and advisers

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission mirrored a proposal introduced by the Securities and Exchange Commission that would require commodity-trading advisers, commodity pools and funds to disclose more information about their operations. CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler said the rule would help ensure consistent oversight for "similar entities in the asset-management arena."
