Dietitian: Help manage hypothyroidism with dietary changes

Small changes in diet and getting more exercise can help people with hypothyroidism fight weight problems, registered dietitian Nicole German writes. Foods that support thyroid function include whole grains, seafood, dairy, eggs and sunflower seeds, while foods high in sugar, cruciferous vegetables, soy and some nuts limit it, she explained.
