Gates: Protect heath programs from economic crisis

The continuing global economic woes pose a danger to aid and health programs that face budget cuts and decreased donor activity, Bill Gates says. The Microsoft founder is heading to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he will urge governments and donors to maintain their support for health programs related to a variety of concerns such as malaria, maternal health and HIV/AIDS.
