Obama's approval rating rises as optimism grows about economy

For the first time in seven months, voters who approve of U.S. President Barack Obama's job performance outnumber those who disapprove -- 48% to 46% -- according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll. Thirty percent of respondents said the country is headed in the right direction, 8 percentage points more than last month's result.
