Study: Plan advisers focus on cost more than performance

Retirement-plan advisers are most concerned about cost when talking with wholesalers about plans, and performance is second, a study shows. Advisers also aren't highly interested in wholesaler extras such as training programs and online calculators, focusing instead on how they can build their asset pool and reach potential clients, according to the study by Kasina.
