What Google's privacy changes mean for marketers

Google's new privacy rules, which allow the company to track users across all of its online services, should help digital advertisers hit their mark more often, experts say. But while e-mail contacts, search history and YouTube viewing habits can now all be used to target ads, some marketers say Google still trails Facebook when it comes to building a portrait of its users' tastes and interests.
