W.Va. district's program identifies where students are in math, reading

Teachers in Marshall County Schools in West Virginia have implemented the Support for Personalized Learning program to help students stay on track with reading and math goals and to identify those who are struggling -- intervening before they fall further behind. The program places students into one of three categories based on formative assessments -- those who do not need further intervention, those who need some intervention and those who need intensive support.
