A boost in ad spending pays off for AOL

America Online's advertising blitz in late 2003 appears to be having a positive effect on the company's bottom line, and could boost earnings for 2004. Separately, AOL's Hispanic-targeted Web site, AOL Latino, is set to announce that it has signed four charter advertisers: Chevorlet, Coca-Cola, Intercontinental Hotels and Artisan/Lionsgate.
