Small food makers bet big to grab attention of large retailers

Some small food manufacturers are willing to gamble big at the chance to secure shelf space from large retailers such as QVC and Wal-Mart. After winning QVC's new product search contest in 2002, Kim & Scott's Gourmet Pretzels has appeared on the show numerous times, and will appear on the network Friday hoping to sell 1.4 million pizza-flavored pretzels leading up to Super Bowl Sunday.
