Hampton kicks off second phase of bid to serve upper-mid market

Hampton has broken ground on a new 75-unit Hampton Inn and Suites in Tampa, Fla., that is a prototype for phase two of the company's "Make it Hampton" initiative. The program, which is designed to better serve the upper-mid market guest, kicked off last February with the renovation of Hampton's existing 1,300 hotels.
