MSN sees ad growth, plans upgrades

Display ads led the way for MSN's fiscal second quarter with 20% growth for the quarter ending Dec. 31 compared to the same period a year ago, while overall ad revenue increased 12% year-over-year. The Microsoft-owned portal also discussed plans to upgrade its global advertising infrastructure with new adCenter software currently being tested in the U.S., and the hiring of additional customer service representatives.
