Emerging technologies -- such as advanced video tools and global positioning systems -- will give "location advertising" in mobile phones the lift it needs to become a major part of the marketing mix, according to panelists at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. But some questioned whether young mobile users will accept ads, and others pointed to privacy concerns associated with marketers following users' movements.
