Jobs will be a hot topic in tonight's State of the Union address

President Barack Obama is expected to devote time to discussing his plans to create jobs -- with a focus on small-business hiring -- tonight in his State of the Union Address. One plan that's already being discussed in the Senate would give tax breaks to employers that hire workers who have spent 60 days or more unemployed. The proposal has potential, said NFIB's Melissa Sharp, but would be better if it were not restricted to the long-term unemployed.
