Mass. biotech center allots $3M for matching grant program

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center has allotted $3 million for a program that will award matching grants of up to $500,000 to small biotech, medical-device and diagnostic firms that have secured financing from the NIH or other federal agencies. The center will start next month accepting online submissions for the matching grant program, which is part of the state's 10-year, $1 billion life sciences initiative.
