Obama's bank proposal could become law soon, Rep. Frank says

Rep. Barney Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said a proposal by President Barack Obama to rein in major financial institutions and their activities could become law within six months. Mr. Frank said the proposal could be woven into legislation already making its way through Congress. "I think [Sen.] Chris [Dodd] will get a bill out in March," Mr. Frank said.
