Roku hits the half-million mark in units sold

Roku, the device that allows users to stream Internet content from sources such as Netflix and MLB.tv straight to the TV, has passed the 500,000 mark in units sold. Roku Chief Executive Officer Anthony Wood said the company, which is mulling an IPO for next year, was looking to double its revenue this year, to $75 million, and reach 1 million units sold.
