SEC might implement controversial rule for money-market funds

The Securities and Exchange Commission wants to implement a rule that would require money-market funds to regularly disclose the value of their assets per share, sources said. The industry has strongly opposed the measure. A vote on the rule has been set for Wednesday, and a majority of SEC commissioners reportedly support it.
