Vets at UC Davis rescue hawk trapped in car's grille

Doctors at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine helped save a red-tailed hawk that was hit and stuck in the grille of a car earlier this month. The hawk only suffered a chest injury, which the veterinarians were able to fix a day after the accident. The hawk has recovered and is scheduled for release back into the wild today.
