Codecademy launches peer-to-peer programming school

Web developers now have a place to pick up new skills or share their coding expertise with others. Codecademy has created an online school offering peer-to-peer coding lessons, letting users get tips on Ruby on Rails, Python and JavaScript from professors, programmers and amateur enthusiasts. "The vision ... is to evolve and grow and cover different languages, different APIs [application programming interfaces], different lessons and allow people to learn from other people," says investor Andy Weissman.
