HBO without a cord? Not yet, but CEO suggests it could happen

HBO is trying to find a way to offer programming to subscribers without cable or satellite connections, but hasn't found a way to keep from alienating its distributors, CEO Richard Plepler says. "We recognize that there's a piece of the audience out there that, if they could get HBO without going through a pay package, we would get it," Plepler says.
