Growth in digital ad spend boosts Web giants' bottom lines

Facebook, Google and, to a lesser extent, Yahoo stand to benefit from the surge in digital ad spending. When its fourth-quarter results are posted Thursday, Google is expected to report $16.7 billion in revenue. The online search giant is said to be responsible for one-third of all online ad revenue for 2013, an estimated $120 billion worldwide.
