John Deere pavilion teaches children about importance of snow

While some complain about snow removal, John Deere is taking advantage of the winter weather to teach children about the importance of snow to the environment and to agriculture. At its pavilion in Moline, the company offered crafts to help make the message fun and engaging. "John Deere is very very much aware of sustainability and of the need for those scarce resources –- our land, our waters, and snow fits into that ecosystem that we all need," said pavilion tour guide Judith Rehder.
