Ex-AIG official handed 4-year jail term for fraud

A year after he was convicted of conspiracy, fraud and making false statements to the SEC, ex-AIG vice president of reinsurance Christian M. Milton was sentenced by a federal judge to four years in prison. He and four former company officials were behind a $500-million manipulation of the corporation's General Re subsidiary's financial statements.
