FDA: Processor found salmonella, shipped peanut butter anyway

The Peanut Corp. of America, linked to the salmonella outbreak that has sickened hundreds and killed as many as eight, found salmonella in internal tests 12 times in 2007 and 2008 but sold the products anyway, according to the FDA. Federal investigators also announced they had found four strains of salmonella at the facility.
