Hilton's new Home2 Suites concept to target extended stays

Hilton Hotels' new Home2 Suites brand may evoke Starwood's Aloft brand, but any resemblances are unintentional, according to a blogger's chat with Bill Duncan, who is heading the brand's launch. Home2 Suites were designed to compete with InterContinental Hotel Group's Candlewood Suites and Marriott's TownePlace Suites, and the chain will also target extended stays of 10 or more nights.
