Auto insurers not overly concerned about credit-scoring ban

Contrary to a predictive data firm's claim, insurance trade groups said their members are not alarmed about the possibility of banning the use of consumers' credit scores in determining auto-insurance rates nationwide. Although insurers are aware of the issue and on the lookout for alternative tools, they are not so much concerned credit scoring "will be plowed under," said PCI's Kenton Brine.
