Gulfstream division holds General Dynamics to flat results

General Dynamics on Wednesday reported level sales and profit for the fourth quarter as operating earnings at the company's Gulfstream division slid 37%, despite signs of recovery. CEO Jay Johnson acknowledged an "exceedingly difficult" year for business aviation, though Gulfstream showed fewer defaults and a net increase in its backlog for the fourth quarter.
