Navigating the minefield of "frenemies"

If your friendly -- but unsupportive -- colleagues often interfere with you reaching your goals, you've got yourself some "frenemies," Susan Cramm writes. The trick to dealing with them is to not take their behavior personally, she advises. Try talking to the problem co-worker, or "jump early and jump often" to deal with obstacles that may be placed in your path, Cramm writes.
