Wal-Mart moves forward with sourcing drive

Wal-Mart and Hong Kong-based sourcing company Li & Fung have announced their partnership to consolidate some of the retailer's sourcing business. Wal-Mart also has appointed Ed Kolodzieski to lead its global sourcing initiative. Kolodzieski is head of the company's Seiyu division in Japan. Wal-Mart is "redefining how we source products that are imported into our Wal-Mart retail markets around the globe", said Eduardo Castro-Wright, head of Wal-Mart's US stores.
