DOD announces massive restructuring of Cyber Command

The Defense Department is pursuing a major expansion of its cybersecurity division, including increasing the number of personnel to almost 5,000 and shifting from a primarily defensive posture to more proactive measures. The restructuring calls for the Pentagon's Cyber Command to have three units with responsibility for national, international and internal DOD security.
