In Syracuse, N.Y., another Advance paper cuts print schedule

The Post-Standard of Syracuse, N.Y., is cutting back print publication to three days a week, with a new focus on digital. The move follows similar cuts at other newspapers also owned by Advance Publications. Publisher Stephen A. Rogers says the new digital emphasis is necessary to keep the paper going in any form and to do the kind of journalism its staff and readers want.
