Hotels are tightening up security as more technology becomes available – and at better prices, too. Closed-circuit video systems offer a glimpse into low-light settings as well as facial recognition technology, according to Tom McElroy, a partner at the Hospitality Security Consulting Group in Reno, Nev. But cameras aren't the only high-tech tool – new key card systems have advanced as well, and can do more than simply open the door.
