Brazil eyes lower 2014 spending

Brazil plans to eliminate some of the spending envisioned in the 2014 budget, which was unveiled only months ago, Finance Minister Guido Mantega said. "The cut we will make is not defined, but it will certainly be one capable of maintaining fiscal solidity and the stability of the net Brazilian debt," he said.
