Group urges Tenn. to stay the course on common core

Tennessee should remain committed to rolling out the Common Core State Standards, according to nonpartisan, nonprofit group State Collaborative on Reforming Education. Some lawmakers have called for halting or delaying implementation of the standards. In its annual report, SCORE made additional recommendations, including improving professional development and expanding technology in schools.
