Yahoo reports further declines in ad revenue in Q4

Yahoo's refresh under CEO Marissa Mayer has yet to translate into increased ad dollars; the company on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter drop in revenue and profit and projected continued declines in Q1 2014. Yahoo said that revenue from search ads was down 4% year-over-year in Q4, while display ad revenues declined 6%. "In 2014, we will continue our efforts around people, products and traffic, while concentrating our efforts on revenue," Mayer said during an investor webcast.
