When Hulu users become infuriated when earlier seasons of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" suddenly were removed from the site, company Chief Executive Officer Jason Kilar swung into action. He delivered a swift apology and explanation of the situation to stem the growing uprising on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media sites. As Muhammad Saleem points out, while the crisis could have been avoided, Kilar's response demonstrated how quick communication, acknowledging a mistake and promising to learn and grow from the experience quickly can tamper online revolts.
