Sony Latin America planning, buying business goes to Mediaedge:cia

Sony Electronics Latin America has named WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia to handle planning and buying duties, following a six-month review. The work previously was repped by multiple local shops. Other agencies vying for the business reportedly included Havas' MPG, Interpublic Group's Universal McCann and Omnicom Group's OMD.
