U.K. health authorities deny Zevalin to lymphoma patient

Health authorities in the U.K. have denied treatment with Zevalin to a 59-year-old woman with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma who no longer responds to chemotherapy and Rituximab. The NHS North of Tyne said the drug has not been approved by the North of England Cancer Network and no guidelines have been released by the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence for the drug's use on non-Hodgkin's lymphoma patients.
