Barclays: U.S. ad spending to increase 3.5% in 2010

Barclays Capital has adjusted its U.S. ad-spending projections upward from flat to 3.5% growth in 2010, to total $167.6 billion. Much of that previously unexpected growth will come from News Corp. and Viacom, according to the report.
