Customization: The key to getting your résumé noticed

If you're sending out a lot of résumés and not getting any responses, it could be because you're not customizing it, Jessica Holbrook writes. Make sure you address the "required skills" in the job description, and don't bother including an objective, she advises. "They are self-serving and do not provide the hiring manager with the crucial information he or she needs to make an informed decision about whether to call you for an interview," she argues.
